WHEN MAY A STUDENT OBTAIN A LEARNER'S PERMIT? |
|
Students may obtain their permit at 15, upon completion of 30 hours classroom lessons from our accredited program. Students may enroll in a program at 14 1/2 yrs, but must be 15 to obtain a learner's permit. According to Colorado law, a permit must be held for a minimum of one year prior to applying for a driver's license. |

WHEN MAY A STUDENT OBTAIN THEIR PERMIT WITHOUT TAKING CLASSROOM LESSONS? |
| At 15 1/2, students may complete a 4 hour Driver's Awareness Class to receive their permit; otherwise the minimum age requirement is 16. According to Colorado law, a permit must be held for a minimum of one year prior to applying for a driver's license. |

| WHY ENROLL IN AN ACCREDITED COURSE? |
| Students will receive comprehensive lessons on rules of the road as well as current updates on Colorado laws and state regulations. Parents can rest assured with our highly-qualified drivers teaching behind the wheel lessons. Inquire with your automotive insurance company for available discounts upon completion of coursework. |

HOW DO I SIGN UP? |

Simply stop by or call Boulder Driving Academy to register. We look forward to meeting you. Personal checks and most major credit cards are accepted. |

WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD? |
Classes are typically held on Saturdays and Sundays. If needed, you may take the course in 4 consecutive Saturdays or 4 consecutive Sundays. Classes are from 8:30am to 4:30pm with a 1/2 hour break for lunch. Special evening classes can be arranged by appointment. |

I'VE BEEN ORDERED BY THE COURT TO TAKE DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT? |
| Yes. Our First Avenue Package will satisfy most court-ordered demands. This course will update you on Colorado laws as well as educate you to deal with all aspects of driving situations. Please call to discuss your specific needs. |

| WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ME TO RECEIVE YOUR LICENSE AT 16? |
You must have 30 hours of classroom training as well as 6 hours of Behind-The-Wheel training to receive your license. You must also hold your permit for at least 1 full year. See package three for discounts offered.
